Local subtitle transcription, translation and editing
ToolRobin Subtitle Studio turns audio or video into editable subtitles in the browser. You can also import SRT or VTT files, translate subtitle text, review timing against the source media and export a clean subtitle file.
Transcribe media locally
Choose audio or video and run local AI transcription. Hardware acceleration is used automatically when supported, with a browser-compatible fallback when it is not.
Translate without changing timecodes
Subtitle translation changes only caption text. Subtitle numbering, start times and end times remain protected so the translated file stays aligned with the original timeline.
Edit SRT and VTT
Import existing subtitles, correct wording line by line, review the media preview and export SRT or VTT after your final check.
Privacy-first workflow
Media transcription runs on the device. Translation runs in the browser using built-in translation when available, with an English, Chinese and Japanese local fallback.
