Which spaces and line breaks change?

Space cleanup includes tabs, non-breaking spaces and full-width spaces. Windows, Mac and Unicode line separators become standard newlines. Keep all line breaks is the default. Paragraph mode joins adjacent non-empty lines and separates paragraphs with one blank line.

When should I avoid cleanup?

Use this for prose, not code, tables or Markdown where spaces can carry meaning. It does not repair OCR errors, remove hyphens or infer missing paragraphs. Emoji, spelling and punctuation stay unchanged. Up to 100,000 UTF-16 units are processed on your device; some emoji use multiple units.
