Example and expected result

With edge trimming and repeated-space cleanup enabled, “ Hello world ” becomes “Hello world”. Do not use this on indentation-sensitive code or tables: removing spaces can change their meaning.

  • Use this for prose, not code, tables or Markdown where spaces can carry meaning. It does not repair OCR errors, remove hyphens or infer missing paragraphs. Emoji, spelling and punctuation stay unchanged. Up to 100,000 UTF-16 units are processed on your device; some emoji use multiple units.
  • If the result is unexpected, compare the original input and matching rules first. Keep an original copy, change one rule at a time and run again. Similar-looking text may differ in spacing, case or Unicode characters.
