Only the size goal is transferred within this tab. It expires after two minutes and is cleared when the tool opens; search text and files are not saved.

Your files. Your choice.

Local tools process files and text in your browser. Online lookups send your query to the provider named on the tool page. See our privacy policy for details about data handling, hosting and advertising.

Files, text and calculations

Most tools process your files and text on your device. The Whois/RDAP, DNS, IP and TLS lookup tools send the query you submit to their named public providers: IANA and the applicable domain registry for RDAP; Cloudflare DNS for DNS queries; ipwho.is / FreeIPAPI for IP lookups and api.ipify.org when you request your public IP; and checksslexpiry.com for certificate checks. ToolRobin does not store these query values. Those providers receive the request and may process its network metadata under their own policies. Local browser tools, including Subtitle Studio, do not upload files or text for processing. The optional remote subtitle MCP service is described below. For these browser tools, except for subtitle drafts you explicitly choose to save, inputs and results stay in page memory until you clear them or leave the page; your browser may restore a previous page session. Files you download remain on your device until you remove them.

Optional remote subtitle processing through MCP

If you deliberately use the subtitle MCP service from an AI host, that host sends the subtitle text you supply to ToolRobin on Cloudflare Pages Functions, up to 64 KiB (65,536 UTF-8 bytes) per call. The ToolRobin application processes it only in request memory: it does not log subtitle contents, persist files or call an AI model. This does not automatically upload files selected in the browser tools. The AI host and Cloudflare apply their own data policies; this application-level statement does not guarantee their retention practices. Results return as complete inline content for your host to save as a file or attachment. They are not hosted download links and cannot be retrieved later from ToolRobin.

Optional subtitle drafts

Subtitle draft saving is off by default. If you enable it, subtitle text, cues and timing are stored in localStorage in this browser, with a 2 MB limit and a seven-day expiry. Expired drafts are removed the next time you open the subtitle editor. Clear the draft, turn off draft saving, or clear website data to remove it immediately. Media files are not included.

Preferences stored in your browser

Your appearance choice (light or dark) is stored separately in localStorage; choosing System theme removes that override. Favorites, pins and recently used tools use localStorage. These records contain tool identifiers and timestamps, not the files, text or calculated values you enter. They do not sync between devices. You can clear recent history in My Tools and remove all preferences through your browser’s site-data settings.

Website delivery and security

Cloudflare delivers the website. Loading a page sends normal connection information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser information to the hosting infrastructure. Providers may process logs for delivery, security and abuse prevention. This is separate from local file processing. Do not put private information into a page URL.

Search and local processing

Tool search runs in your browser and is not sent to an AI service. Loading the site or a tool still downloads application code from our hosting infrastructure. Local processing means your tool inputs are not uploaded; it does not mean that visiting the website makes no network requests. We do not currently run third-party analytics scripts.

Advertising and cookies

ToolRobin integrates Google AdSense. Ad display depends on Google approval and availability. Google and its partners receive connection data and may use cookies to deliver, measure and, with the applicable consent, personalize ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message offers consent, refusal and management choices. Use Privacy and cookie settings in the footer to change your choice where this message applies. ToolRobin does not send tool files, text, results or search queries to the ad integration.

Your choices

You can remove site data or control cookies using your browser settings. Where Google personalized advertising is used, you can manage preferences at Google My Ad Center. Disabling local storage may prevent your shortcuts from being saved; it does not prevent the current tools from processing inputs.

Updates

We will update this page when data handling changes. A future cloud or AI tool will explain its upload requirements separately; it will not silently replace local processing.
