Image Color Picker

Pick a pixel from a local image and copy its HEX, RGB or HSL color.

Paste or choose an input, select options and process it locally. Review the result before copying or downloading.

    Options

PNG, JPEG and static WebP; one file up to 20 MB, 16 million pixels and 8192 pixels per side. Coordinates use the decoded source, not the displayed preview size. Values reflect the browser’s sRGB canvas rendering; this is not print color calibration or a dominant-color analyzer.

    How to use

    What does this tool do?

Read the color of a source pixel instead of sampling a scaled thumbnail. Coordinates refer to the decoded image after orientation, with 0,0 at the top-left corner.

    Step by step

    1. Paste or choose an input, select options and process it locally. Review the result before copying or downloading.
    2. Click the preview or enter integer X and Y coordinates for keyboard access. HEX, RGB, HSL and alpha describe browser-decoded sRGB values; this is not a print calibration tool.

    Example and expected result

A solid #2563EB pixel returns RGB 37, 99, 235. Selecting it on a scaled preview still reports the original pixel coordinates.

    If it is not working

    • Choose coordinates within the displayed source dimensions. Transparent pixels include an alpha value; a browser may normalize RGB channels where alpha is zero.
