Image Resizer
Set image dimensions and an optional JPEG file-size limit together. Keep the whole image or add borders for an exact canvas.
Create ICO and PNG favicons, preview tiny icons and download a complete ZIP in your browser.
Choose an image, set padding and background colors, check the small previews, then generate and download the ZIP.
Unsupported SVG content was removed. Check the preview before downloading.
The 16, 32 and 48 pixel previews are shown at actual size. Fine detail can disappear at 16 pixels.
The ZIP contains 9 files: ICO, SVG, five PNGs, an icon manifest and the HTML snippet.

Example: upload a transparent 1024×1024 logo, keep transparency and use 10% padding. The ZIP contains ICO (16/32/48), five PNGs, an SVG containing a PNG, an icon manifest and the HTML snippet. Simple marks stay clearer at 16 pixels; fine details can disappear.
A favicon is the small icon browsers show in tabs, bookmarks, and history next to your page title. It is tiny — often just 16×16 pixels — so a good favicon is simple, high-contrast, and recognizable at a glance. This generator converts your image into common favicon sizes, entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
| File | Size | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| favicon.ico | 16, 32, 48 | Browser tabs and bookmarks |
| favicon.svg | 512 × 512 | SVG-capable browsers; embedded PNG |
| favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png | 16, 32 | PNG fallbacks |
| apple-touch-icon.png | 180 × 180 | iOS home screen and Safari |
| android-chrome-192x192.png, android-chrome-512x512.png | 192, 512 | Android and PWA icon entries |
PNG, JPEG, WebP, and plain SVG inputs are supported. Files are limited to 10 MB and 4096 pixels per side. Animated images are not supported. SVG inputs are rasterized in your browser; scripts, external references, images, stylesheets, filters and animations are removed and will not render. Text uses available local fonts. Check the preview if your SVG uses these features.
The ICO contains 16×16, 32×32, and 48×48 PNG-compressed entries. Downscaling uses multi-step resampling, but a detailed photo still loses detail at 16 pixels — simple marks work best. Transparency is preserved in ICO and PNG when selected; the Apple touch icon uses a solid background. The SVG output embeds a PNG and is not a vector conversion. Your original stays unchanged.
Ship the multi-size ICO (16/32/48), a 180×180 Apple touch icon, and 192/512 PNGs for Android. These are common browser and device sizes, not a guarantee that every platform uses every file.
Include the ICO fallback and PNG or SVG alternatives. Copy the HTML snippet, then update the paths to match where you host the files.
Many modern browsers support SVG favicons. Keep the ICO fallback for browsers that do not. This tool embeds a 512×512 PNG inside the SVG; it does not trace your logo into vector paths.
Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Try a hard refresh or clear the browser cache. Check the file paths, and change the filename or version query if the cached icon persists.
The Apple touch icon is always flattened onto the Apple background color you choose here. ICO and other PNG files keep transparency when selected.
No. The manifest contains icon entries only. Merge them into your existing manifest or add the name, start URL and other PWA settings your site needs.
