Generate random version-4 UUIDs and copy one or a whole batch.

Paste or choose an input, select options and process it locally. Review the result before copying or downloading.

How to use

What does this tool do?

Step by step

  1. Paste or choose an input, select options and process it locally. Review the result before copying or downloading.
  2. Generate 1 to 1,000 UUIDs and choose letter case to match your receiving system. A UUID identifies a record; it is not a password, access token or proof of authenticity.

Example and expected result

Requesting 2 UUIDs produces 2 lines. Each lowercase UUID has 36 characters including 4 hyphens; the version digit is 4.

If it is not working

  • Use a current browser if secure randomness is unavailable. If clipboard permission is denied, select the result manually or download the TXT file.
