What does a black box remove?
Applied boxes replace image pixels with solid black in a new PNG. The export has no editable layers or original metadata. Transparent areas become white. Your original file is unchanged. Draft selections are not applied until you choose Apply black box.

This is manual image redaction, not automatic privacy detection or PDF redaction. Leave a margin around private text and inspect the exported PNG. Other visible details may still identify someone. Editing, removing or undoing a box disables the previous download until you generate and review again.

Example and expected result
In the sample, a box at left 50, top 125, width 400 and height 50 covers the example email. A second box at left 50, top 215, width 400 and height 50 covers the order number. The issue description remains visible. The output keeps the 900 × 600 dimensions. These example positions are not suitable for other screenshots.
