Replacement text uses the selected font. Each PDF text object is one editable line; scanned text is not editable.
Choose an image, then drag an area on the page. Up to 5 MB and 12 million pixels.
Drag an area on the page to create the field. Names must start with a letter and contain only letters, numbers, _ or -.
Page changes apply to the entire exported PDF. Keep at least one page.
Edits stay in memory until you export. Up to 100 edits; exports up to 60 MB. The original file is unchanged.
How to use
Edit and export a PDF copy
Open a PDF, select text or an image, and apply the change. Use the left tools to add text, images, highlights, drawings, signatures or forms; use Pages to organize the document. Export a PDF copy and reopen it to check the result.
Example and expected result
Try the example: replace “Replace this sentence” with “Ready to share”, then export. The original sentence is removed from the new file, while the unchanged line stays searchable. Undo restores the previous document.
What can I edit?
Select ordinary PDF text or images, replace a text line using Noto Sans or Noto Sans SC, move or resize objects, add images, highlight, draw or add a handwritten signature. Use Pages to rotate, reorder or delete pages. Forms creates text fields, checkboxes and dropdowns and fills supported existing fields.
Fonts and documents
Text editing supports Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Chinese and Japanese characters covered by the selected font. Font style may change. Complex scripts, paragraph reflow, scanned text, nested objects and certificate signing are not supported. Form values support Latin text. Encrypted, digitally signed and XFA documents are rejected. A drawn signature is only a visible mark.
Cancel and export
Cancel discards the unfinished operation and keeps earlier edits. Retry or export a copy before leaving. Files are never uploaded or stored. The first use downloads the local engine; Chinese editing also downloads a font. Reopen the exported PDF and check every changed page before sharing.
